Finance Manager, Group Accounts

Destination: Channel Islands

KLW International are currently recruiting for a international specialist services group with expertise in third-party administration, offshore law and private client services in the Channel Islands. We are looking for a Finance manager to deal with group accounts and the right individual will be a qualified accountant with professional accounting background and commercial experience.  

You will be part of the finance management team working closely with the other finance managers and the finance director on all issues arising and relating to the department. Responsibilities will include production of annual accounts for the group companies; day to day running of the purchase ledger department; daily financial control procedures; maintaining and updating the Fixed Asset Register; ensuring accuracy of VAT recording to facilitate VAT reclaim and completion of VAT returns; daily bank reconciliation’s and month end work.

The right individual will possess advanced knowledge and understanding of computer based accounting, reporting, billing and treasury systems, ability to gain commitment of individuals and to be assertive when appropriate, understanding of Financial Services Authority (FSA) legislation in relation to investment firms, ability to work with the minimum of supervision and resolve problems efficiently and effectively and encourage openness and cooperation between sections in the finance department.
