Compliance/Control Specialist, Major FS Org, Luxembourg

KLW’s client, a large Financial Services firm based in Luxembourg, is currently seeking a Compliance & Control Specialist, who will perform various tasks to ensure that the Funds comply with the Luxembourg Funds industry framework and will ensure compliance reviews/client reports are performed in a timely and accurate fashion.

Key accountabilities are to:
Notify the client of investment compliance breaches and monitor these to ensure that corrective action is taken in a timely manner;
Provide clients & internal management with regular reports on the status of all compliance issues on funds.
Ensure all unresolved compliance issues are followed through to ensure prompt resolution.
Managing the compliance process; reviewing various areas and making recommendations; monitoring and reporting on these implemented recommendations; providing practical and technical advice concerning compliance implications from new regulatory procedures or those of the group; and liaising with other departments and regulatory bodies. You must be qualified and have over 5 years’ experience in compliance which, latterly, will be at manager level. Financial services, regulatory, accounting, AML experience, trust and company management knowledge are sought and, ideally, the candidate will have experience in off shore locations.

Excellent knowledge of the English language is mandatory, French and/or German is considered a plus.
