KLW International Recruitment is currently recruiting for one of their clients in their Assurance & Advisory area of practice. They specialise in understanding an enterprise-wide view of business risk and how this risk can be effectively managed — a process that is essential for ensuring the trust of stakeholders.
Their Financial Services practice forms an integral part of a global network, offering business solutions to more than 1000 financial institutions and with multidisciplinary resources located in all key global financial centres. Specialist areas include banking, insurance, wealth management, superannuation, risk management and compliance.
In a growing practice, particularly in the banking and insurance sectors, experienced external auditors are needed at Manager level. You will assist in the planning and scoping of engagements, selecting audit team members and conducting audit assignments. You will lead audit assignments, with a focus on monitoring and guiding your team. Liaising directly with clients to identify and resolve issues, you will be involved in report writing and the identification of key risk areas.
You will require to be CA qualified, with substantial audit experience in the Financial Services sector. You must be able to demonstrate initiative, team leadership and client service skills and will have sound technical skills, as well as a keen eye for detail. An understanding of IFRS, changes in the regulatory environment and exposure to major systems used in global financial institutions will be highly regarded.
