KLW International are recruiting for one of their Big 4 clients in Dublin for an audit manager in Asset Management. Their Dublin practice is a leading provider of assurance services to asset management companies, including regulated mutual funds, offshore funds, hedge funds, and private equity funds, fund of funds, as well as investment managers and administrators.

 

Their industry knowledge and experience has enabled them to design and execute a focused and efficient audit process an their audit approach focuses on the identification and testing of the client’s internal controls, including information technology controls at the administrator and the investment manager level.  This approach is designed to focus comparatively more audit effort on complex, higher-risk areas than on those assessed as lower risk, resulting in a more effective audit which ensures that all agreed deadlines are met.

 

You will manage a portfolio of asset management audit clients and deliver the audit opinion within the client deadline; identify areas of risk within clients’ businesses, define the appropriate audit approach, know when to consult / refer upwards and apply judgment by effective risk appraisal of all work targeted and undertaken.

In addition you will be a pro-active leader of teams, ensure team members are properly managed and motivated and ensure staff needs, including training and development, are identified and acted upon and you must have a proven track record of outstanding performance and display a high level of people and business skills within the Financial Services industry.

 

The right individual will be a qualified Accountant, relevant management experience, with at least 3 years post qualification experience and relevant financial services experience, ideally focused on the hedge fund industry.
